History of construction

In May 1957, Liudaowan sub district office was established under the jurisdiction of Tianshan District.

In July 1969, it was renamed Liudaowan Revolutionary Committee of Tianshan District.

In June 1979, Liudaowan Revolutionary Committee was abolished and Liudaowan sub district office was restored. Later, it was renamed as Liudaowan sub district office in Shuimogou District.

In December 1982, it was renamed Xinmin Road sub district office, Tianshan District, Urumqi.

In December 1987, it was under the jurisdiction of 11 neighborhood committees including the military region compound, Wuxing Road, construction and Engineering Bureau, Xinxing street, Xinmin East Street, Xinmin West Street, plowshare street, Hongshan, Hongxing Xinmin West Road, Xinmin East Road, and one family Committee of Bayi Middle School.

In October 1988, it was put under the jurisdiction of Shuimogou District.

In January 1989, Xinmin Road sub district office was officially subordinate to Shuimogou District.

In November 1991, three new residents' committees were set up in Xinmin East Street No.2, beishanpo and Hetan North Road, and eight family committees were set up in the first construction of the autonomous region, 7438 factory, Department of military transportation, rental company, Academy of Forestry Sciences, paint factory, No.19 middle school and material Bureau.
