Donghuangtuo Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of LUANNAN COUNTY, bordering bogezhuang town in the East, bogezhuang town and Caofeidian second farm in the south, Caofeidian sixth farm in the west, and anguezhuang town in the north, with an administrative area of 51.2 square kilometers.
In May 1946, it belonged to seven districts of LUANNAN COUNTY; in February 2002, donghuangtuo administrative area was abolished and donghuangtuo town was established. By the end of 2018, the population of donghuangtuo town registered residence was 17139. As of June 2020, donghuangtuo town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at No. 500 Fumin Street, donghuangtuo village.

History of construction
In May 1946, it belonged to seven districts of LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1953, donghuangtuo township was established.
In July 1954, it was transferred to the thirteen districts of Luanxian county.
In July 1956, donghuangtuo township was re established as Luanxian county.
In September 1958, it belonged to Qunying people's commune; in November of the same year, it belonged to bogezhuang people's commune, bogezhuang Agricultural Reclamation District, Tangshan city.
In June 1961, donghuangtuo people's commune was established in Fengnan county.
In January 1963, it belongs to LUANNAN COUNTY.
In May 1984, the people's commune was abolished and donghuangtuo township was established.
In April 1993, the township was withdrawn and donghuangtuo town was established.
In January 1996, it was merged into bogezhuang town and became donghuangtuo office; in April of the same year, the office was changed into management area, which was managed by bogezhuang town.
In February 2002, donghuangtuo management area was abolished and donghuangtuo town was replaced.
