Shu'an Street

Shu'an street is under the jurisdiction of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It covers an area of 135.9km2 and has a population of 22814 (at the end of 2011). It governs one community and 20 administrative villages (Note: Nanzui village is managed by Liangzihu Scenic Area Office).

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

In 1958, it was a satellite commune. In 1961, it was established as Shu'an commune. In 1983, it was changed to a township. In 1996, it covers an area of 136 square kilometers and has a population of 23000. It governs 21 administrative villages, including Zhangtang, Heqiao, Nanzui, wulidun, Tangkou, Zhumiao, Xuhe, Liaoyuan, Penghua, Tianpu, baxiu, wangban, Pengtang, heli, Guanshan, Tongshan, dawuaan, Fenshui, Gongru, Wayao and Simeng. In 2004, the township government was stationed in Shu'an, with a population of 24944 and an area of 151.28 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over a neighborhood committee in Shu'an and 21 administrative villages including Zhangtang, Heqiao, Nanzui, wulidun, Tangkou, Zhumiao, Xuhe, Liaoyuan Penghua, Tianpu, baxiu, wangban, Pengtang, heli, Guanshan, Tongshan, dawu'an, Fenshui, Gongru, Wayao and Simeng. In December 2012, Shu'an township was abolished and Shu'an street was established. The office is located at 89 Lianghu road.
