Daodao Township, subordinate to Haidong Minmin and Hui and Tu Autonomous County of Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County, bordering Xinsi Township and Chuancheng town of Yongjing County of Gansu Province in the East, Qianhe Township in the south, Maying town in the West and Dazhuang Township in the north, with an administrative area of 102.3 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, the township was transferred to the Xining border of the river state, the Xunhua Hall of the Qing government in the registered residence of the government in the Ming Dynasty; in 1956, the township was renamed the township of transportation; in 1958, it was incorporated into the Ma Ying commune; in 1961, the commune was assigned; in 1981, the commune was set up from the transduction commune; in 1984, the diversion township was reestablished; in 2001, the Tacheng township was incorporated into the transduction township; by the end of 2018, the population of the registered population in the township was 23520. As of October 2019, daodu has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is stationed in daodu village.

History of construction
Daodu township was located in the frontier of Hezhou in Ming Dynasty, which was under the jurisdiction of Xunhua Department of Xining Prefecture in Qing Dynasty; Anle township was set up when Minhe county was built.
In 1956, it was renamed Zhuangxiang.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Maying commune.
In 1961, the commune was set up separately.
In 1981, Tacheng commune was set up from Daodao commune.
In 1984, Daodao township was set up again.
In 2001, Tacheng township was merged into daodu township.
