Pingzhuang Township, belonging to Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Dongxiang Autonomous County, connecting Nalesi town in the East, Baihe Township in the south, Dongyuan Township in the West and suonan town in the north. The area is 50.82 square kilometers. In 2018, 17063 people registered residence.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the wuhui temple in Dongxiang. In 1951, Baihe District, guidongxiang county. In 1955, Pingzhuang township was established. In 1958, it was incorporated into suonan commune. In 1960, Pingzhuang commune was established. In 1983, the township was restored. In 2005, mianguchi village, Shuangshu village and wumaisi village of mianguchi Township were incorporated into the area under the jurisdiction of the county. In June 2020, Chuntai township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.
