History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, Yurun township was established.

On September 5, 1949, Ledu County was liberated.

In 1950, Yurun township was set up along the old system.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Hanzhuang commune.

In 1961, Yurun commune was established.

In 1984, Yurun commune was changed into Yurun township.

On March 19, 2001, Yurun township was abolished and Yurun town was established.

Yurun town is located in the Huangshui Valley and the mountains on both sides, high in the north and South and low in the middle. The landform is mainly composed of valley land, medium and low mountains and hills. Huangshui River flows from west to East. The average altitude is about 2000 meters.
