Baoku Township belongs to Datong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. Baoku township is located in the northwest of Datong County, bordering Xinzhuang Town and Ta'er town in the East, Qingshan Township in the south, Qinglin Township and Haiyan County in the west, Daban mountain in the north and Menyuan County in Haibei Prefecture.
