Yizhou town

Yizhou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is the seat of Yi county government. It is located in the east of Yi County, adjacent to Qiaotou Township in the East, Gaocun town in the south, lianggezhuang town in the West and Baima Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 10 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9 kilometers, with a total area of 57.5 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Yi town registered residence was 61640.

In 1949, it was the Chengxiang District of Yi county. In 1956, it was changed into Chengguan town. In 1958, it was changed into Yizhou commune. In 1984, Yizhou town was rebuilt. As of June 2020, Yizhou town has 7 neighborhood committees and 30 village committees, and the town people's government is located at No. 26, Kaiyuan South Street. Yizhou town has the national key cultural relics protection units of longxingguan Daodejing building and shengta Yuanta (Jingke tower)
