Langmusi town
Langmusi Town, belonging to Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Luqu county. It is connected with Ruoergai County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province in the East, Ruoergai County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province in the southeast, South and southwest, Maqu County in the West and Gahai Township in the northwest. The area is 570.92 square kilometers. In 2018, 4694 people registered residence.
In 1956, Langmusi district was established. In 1958, Yuejin commune was established with Gahai Township and renamed Gahai commune at the end of the year. In 1961, it was called Langmusi Township and implemented the commune system under the jurisdiction of the township. In 1966, it was renamed Changzheng township. In 1968, the original name was restored, a revolutionary committee was established, and it was changed into a commune at the end of the year. At the beginning of 1984, it was changed to township. In 2002, the township was set up. In June 2020, Langmusi town governs one community and four administrative villages.
