Hanyuan Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Dangchang county. It is adjacent to haoti Township in the East, Zhuyuan Township in the south, Nanyang town in the West and Xinghua Township in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 148.89 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Hanyuan Township belonged to Lianggong township of Min county; in October 1983, it was changed from Hanyuan commune to Hanyuan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Han Yuan Township was 10874. As of June 2020, Hanyuan village has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Hanyuan village.
The main food crops in Hanyuan township are wheat, corn, broad bean and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Hanyuan township has 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to Lianggong township of Min county.
In January 1950, Hanyuan township was established.
In September 1958, Nanyang commune was established with Nanyang Township.
In 1961, Nanyang commune established Hanyuan commune.
In October 1983, Hanyuan commune was changed into Hanyuan township.
