Lichuan town
Lichuan Town, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Dangchang county. It is connected with Muer Township in the East, Nanhe Township in the south, Hadapu town in the West and Bali Township in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 86.1 square kilometers.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Lichuan village was located in Lichuan town; in August 2004, Lichuan village was replaced by Lichuan town. As of June 2020, Lichuan town has 21 administrative villages and the people's Government of Lichuan town is located in xiajie village.

In 1912, Lichuan town was established.
In October 1949, Lichuan township was set up, belonging to Bailong district.
In November 1958, Lichuan commune was established.
In November 1983, Lichuan commune was transformed into Lichuan township.
In August 2004, Lichuan township was replaced by Lichuan Town, and Dashe township was merged into Lichuan town.

History and culture
It was called "Lichuan" in ancient times, and "Li" was originally the surname of Qiang Nationality in ancient times, which got its name from the surname and terrain. Lichuan Taishan temple is located in renjiashan, Lichuan Town, 40 kilometers north of Dangchang county. It was first built in Tianqi (1621-1627) of Ming Dynasty.
