Quangang town

Quangang town is located in the northwest of Fengcheng City, at the junction of Fengcheng City, Zhangzhou city and Gaocheng City, covering the North Bank of Ganjiang River with a total area of 100.46 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 20 Village (neighborhood) committees, with a permanent resident population of 35492 (2017). Historical evolution

It is known as "little Nanjing" in history. The original Jinjiling (Zhenlong nunnery) after a spring gushing, circuitous flow into Xiao lane, named Quangang. In the 23rd year of the Yuan Dynasty (1286), it belonged to two townships, Changfeng and Xingren. In 1376, it belonged to Liufang and Bafang in Fengcheng county. In 1926 (the 15th year of the Republic of China), a liaison office was set up, belonging to Jianxi District of Fengcheng county.
