Sihe town

Sihe Town, belonging to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Jingning County. It borders on Gangou Township in the East, Xindian Township in the south, Sizi and Yigang Township in Huining County in the west, Longchuan Township in Tongwei County in the southwest and Hongsi Township in the north. The total area of the administrative area is 130 square kilometers, and by the end of 2018, the registered residence population of four towns is 21563.

Sihe town got its name because the township government was stationed in Sihe village. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Leisi town and later to Mintun township. In August 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District (Gangou). In December 2003, Tianbao township was incorporated. In 2016, we completed the work of changing villages into towns. As of June 2020, Sihe town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages.

At the end of 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Sihe town was 1050 yuan. In 2018, Sihe town has one industrial enterprise and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

Sihe town got its name because the township government was stationed in Sihe village.
