Jiudun town
Jiudun Town, belonging to Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Liangzhou District, 26 kilometers away from Liangzhou city in the south, adjacent to Tengger Desert in the East, xiashuang Township in the south, Siba town across Shiyang River in the West and Caiqi town in Minqin County in the North. The maximum distance from east to west is 11.1 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 16 kilometers. The total administrative area is 42.45 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of nine towns had 8553 registered residence.
From the Western Han Dynasty to the "Wuliang" period of the Sixteen States, jiudun town belonged to XiuTu county and guzang County of Wuwei County. In January 1956, it was jiudun township. In March 2018, jiudun town was set up. As of June 2020, jiudun town has jurisdiction over one community and six administrative villages. The town people's government is located in zhongjiawopu, jiudun village.

History of construction
From the Western Han Dynasty to the "five Liang" period of the Sixteen Kingdoms, jiudun town was divided into XiuTu county and guzang County in Wuwei County. XiuTu county was located in the area of Siba town and jiudun town.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Linzhong county and Xiangcheng County of Wuwei County.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was returned to guzang county.
Yuan, Yongchang Road is West Liangzhou.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was successively returned to liangzhouwei county and Wuwei County.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Shuangcheng township of Wuwei County.
After September 1949, it belonged to Baita and Shuangcheng districts. In July 1952, it belongs to the Sixth District (Shuangcheng).
In January 1956, it was jiudun township.
In October 1958, it was established as a dual commune.
In 1962, jiudun commune was established.
In July 1983, jiudun township was established.
In March 2018, jiudun town was set up.

Hongshui River enters Xiawo village and flows into Shiyang River from south to North in Caiqi of Minqin, with a total length of 19.8 km.
