Hequan town
Hequan Town, belonging to Dingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, is a suburban town, known as the "South Gate" of Dingbian county. Hequan town is located in the south of the county, adjacent to zhuanjing Town, Hongliugou Town, yanchangpu Town, Dingbian street, etc. The total area is 442.95 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 30643 (2018).
After Dingbian county was established in Qing Dynasty, the town belonged to papaya pond in the West and ya'er pond in the East. In 1963, Hequan people's commune was established. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1997, it was changed into a town. As of October 2019, Hequan town has jurisdiction over 4 community neighborhood committees and 15 village committees.
In 2017, there were 360 enterprises and 1800 employees in Hequan Town, including 24 industrial enterprises and 2 large-scale enterprises. In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Hequan town and 2 Enterprises above designated size. There are 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In 2019, the investment in fixed assets of Hequan town is 3.498 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income is 16103 yuan. The leading industries are agriculture, animal husbandry and the third industry.
Historical evolution
After the establishment of Dingbian County in the Qing Dynasty, the town belonged to papaya pond in the west, Ya'ertang in the East, yanglaozhuang in YOUFANGZHUANG Township and Wangyuan in Jipan Township in the south.
After changing to Baojia in the Republic of China, a joint insurance office was set up in abandoned pond, and the area remained unchanged.
In 1936, Baojia was abolished. The township and village are the fourth and fifth townships in the urban area.
In 1947, the two townships were established as good neighborhoods.
In 1958, it was transferred to two administrative areas of chengtan people's commune.
In 1961, the new wanglaitan people's commune was established, and the original management area was transformed into 25 production teams and 93 production teams.
In 1963, he Quan village was relocated and renamed as he Quan people's commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1997, it was changed from township to town.

On June 28, 2015, Jipan township was abolished and merged into Hequan town.

There are many cultural relics and historic sites in Hequan Town, such as the ancient Great Wall, Tucheng village and ancient road.
Ancient Great Wall
There are three great walls in Hequan Town, I-shaped. One from the north, through the county, Zhengquan, Liuquan, CAIQUAN, xiaanmen, shanganmen to qiangoukou, with a total length of 8.5km, 17 piers and abutments, built in the Ming Dynasty; one from yangmachang, through Liangquan, shijingzi, wazhaliang, to the East, with a total length of 11Li, 6 piers and abutments; one from xiaanmen in the west, through pengtan, shijingzi to wazhaliang, commonly known as xuanbianqiang. The soil layer of the west wall and the revolving wall is between 6cm and 8cm, and the diameter of the ramming pit is 20cm to 25cm, which is arranged in order; the soil layer of the east wall is more than 8cm, and the ramming pit is larger. All the remains remain.
Tucheng Village
Niuying city was built in the Ming Dynasty between jingwan at the mouth of qiangoukou and Xuedi;
Papaya village, built in the Ming Dynasty at the mouth of papaya gully, remains still exist;
Zhengerzhuang village, in zhengerzhuang, there are two villages, East and West, built in the Qing Dynasty. The surname of Chen, the leader of the East Village, no longer exists. The surname of Chen, the leader of the West Village, still exists;
Dingzhaizi, in dingzhaizi village, was built in the Ming Dynasty;
Lizhaizi was built in the north of Liangquan;
Pengtan village, in pengtan village, is said to be the home of Li Rong, the Far East chief of the Ming Dynasty.
Ancient road
Before the Qing Dynasty, the shangyun avenue of Gansu and Liangshan in Taixi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty entered Shigou in the East, left pengtan, shangyinmen, zhengerzhuang, matonzhuang and Hongzhuang in the west, and left Erdaogou County in Hongliugou town in the West. It was not only a commercial road, but also a military one. After emperor Xiaozong of Tang Dynasty ascended the throne in Lingzhou, Guo Ziyi and Li Guangbi led the army from Daodong to quell the Anshi rebellion. According to legend, this road was opened up in the Qin Dynasty. It is one of the East-West straight roads in the north.
Great Wall Pass tunnel
According to legend, there was a tunnel under the Great Wall. During the period of the Republic of China, Ding Junsheng and others went in to investigate, and each pier of the Great Wall was disposed of as an exit, which could reach the height of the pier. There are wells, warehouses and living rooms in the tunnel, which were flooded later. It is said that in the Ming Dynasty, when they were disturbed by riding, all the people nearby went into caves to hide.

Qiaomiangetuo
Qiaomiangetuo is a Han nationality snack in Dingbian. Mix the buckwheat noodles with water, roll them into 3cm thick slices with fists, cut them into small finger sized cubes, push them into getuo shape with thumb one by one, cook them in a pot, pour them with mutton saozi soup, and add seasoning.

In 2019, Hequan town won the titles of "civilized township", "advanced grassroots Party (industry) committee", "excellent Township in target responsibility assessment" and "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee".
