A brief introduction to kemushan

Kemu mountain, with an elevation of 503 meters, is known as "the first peak in Luoxi". The shape of the mountain is peculiar. The body lies in the West and the face faces to the East. When the fog sinks at the foot of the mountain and the clouds move to the peak, it is like the Buddha in the West. In front of the mountain, there are many ridges. In back of the mountain, the body is steep. On both sides of the mountain are Meigu mountain and Niujiao mountain. The green mountains are like the wings of the wind, and the dense forest is like covered feathers. In the steep back mountain, a sharp rock is like a wind mouth, standing in the air, leaping like flying. At the foot of the mountain, there are two streams with clear springs and endless winding mountains. It is a treasure land of geomantic omen for many dynasties.
Taking the hard and straight granite mountain as the skeleton, Kemu mountain integrates the wonders of peaks, stones, pines and clouds, and the soul of streams, streams, springs and pools, forming a wonderful natural landscape. With plump shape and soft outline as the skin, and luxuriant vegetation as the clothing, you can see from a distance like the rising of green clouds, layer upon layer, climb high and overlook the mountains and rivers. The natural stone on the hillside is like a lotus Avalokitesvara. The fairy like "Guanyin trail" landscape outlined here is known as one of the eight ancient scenes in Anfu (now linli). There is an ancient poem praising: "strange rocks can change, and Guanyin image is like a Buddha.". If you sit on a wonderful platform, flowers will fly to nine lotus.

Kemu mountain is not only rich in natural landscape, but also rich in cultural landscape. The original Buddhist culture makes the magnificent carved mountain more splendid. There is a temple on the top of the main peak, with magnificent architecture, which is called "carved wood Niangniang Temple". "Linli directory" records: it is said that "dinglan carved wood, there is a temple, for carved wood empress, many worshippers." Taking "filial piety for parents" as an example of eternal virtue, the carved Niangniang Temple is made of wood and stone, with simple structure and elegant color, and integrated with nature. It reflects the elegant, free and easy, natural and simple style of Chu culture. There are many people who come to worship Buddhism in the mountains, and the fragrance is strong. Therefore, since its establishment, celebrities, scholars and scholars of all ages have been climbing mountains and worshiping Buddhas one after another, leaving a lot of poems and ink. The poem Wang Ke Mu Shan written by Zhang Shihuan of Ming Dynasty praises: "the dangerous peak is as sharp as a cliff, and the wall is erect and empty. At the end of the smoke, the bell rings. We should not connect with heaven, but have monk's residence. I would like to climb to the top, resist the nostalgia and look at the beginning of ancient times. "
