Huaniu town

Hua Niu Town, belonging to Maiji District, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the west suburb of Maiji District, adjacent to Ma Chuo Quan Town, and south of Ganquan Town. It connects West with the town of Zao Jiao and Yuquan Town, Qinzhou District, and north is adjacent to the Jin Ji town of Qingshui County. The area is 118.97 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 44752.

From 1949 to 1950, huaniu Township, Jianyu Township, Shili township (part) and Weixia Township were established successively. In 1952, jiuyu township was added. In September 1958, huaniu was incorporated into mabaoquan commune. In 1966, huaniu was incorporated into 210 shop, and the Jade Emperor was renamed Cui Jiashan. In May 1983, it was named Nianlipu. In the same year, the commune was transformed into a township. In December 2001, Shilipu removed the township to build a town and changed its name to huaniu town. As of June 2020, huaniu town has 14 communities and 27 administrative villages.
