Dujing town

Dujing Town, namely Dujing street, is located on the East Bank of the middle reaches of Jialing River, across the river from Shunqing city. It is only 5km away from the city center, less than 10km away from Nanchong railway passenger station, freight station, bus station, entrance of Chengdu Nanjing Expressway and Nanchong Chongqing Expressway, and Nanchong Gaoping airport. National Highway 318, southern front line of provincial highway and ring expressway pass through the city. Zhufengsi bridge is proposed to connect Dujing with Jialing Mausoleum and Shunqing are closely connected, and the water and land transportation is very convenient. Covering an area of 10 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over four administrative villages and three neighborhood committees, with a total population of 15000.

On October 29, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Nanchong to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 7 counties (cities, districts) including Gaoping District: Yong'an town was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Dujing street, where the office of Dujing street was located at No. 1, Dujing road.

On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Dujing town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

Dujing Town, Gaoping District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, is a newly born pearl by the Jialing River. It is located in the planning area of Dujing community in the urban area. The reason for the name

Dujing town is named after Dujing dam.

In 1952, dujingba village and miaoerzui village of Hedong Township were merged with Linjiang village, Gonghe village and zhangjiadian village of Yong'an township to establish Dujing township. In 1954, six villages of Dujing Township were merged into Hedong and Yong'an Township respectively. In 1956, Qingxi and Hedong townships were merged into Gaoping Township of Nanchong City in Hedong Sichuan Province. In 1958, Hedong people's commune was established. In 1972, Hedong and Qingxi commune were put under the jurisdiction of Nanchong county. In 1975, they were merged into Gaoping Township of Nanchong City Chengguan commune was merged in November, 1984 and renamed Gaoping town in August, 1984. In July, 1998, Baita sub district office was set up in part of the area. In August, 2000, two family members' committees in Gaoping Town, Yuhuangmiao village, hongqiba village, dujingba village, miaoerzui village, Dujing neighborhood committee and Yuansi No.2 factory, were assigned to Dujing sub district office and officially established on November 21, 2000.

Dujing is famous for its unique natural environment, resource advantages and regional advantages. Silk capital of China

After the establishment of Dujing town in 2000, its advantage is the silk industry. Located on the East Bank of the middle reaches of Jialing River, Dujing Town, with a population of 16000, now has more than 10 large-scale silk enterprises. Among them, "Liuhe" and "Dehe" have a history of nearly 100 years.

Based on this, the town formally submitted a request to China Silk Association in February 2009. The content of the request is to apply for naming Dujing town as "the silk capital of China, the first silk town".

After careful deliberation, the expert group believes that nearly all the competitive enterprises of Nanchong silk industry with a long history are in Dujing town. Jiangsu and Zhejiang are known as the hometown of silk in China. However, in recent years, with the promotion of the national strategy of "moving mulberry from east to west", the silk industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is not as good as in the past. Many enterprises move in. In addition to the impact of the global financial crisis last year and next year, most silk enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang have laid off staff, reduced wages and stopped production. In this context, the silk enterprises in Dujing town can be regarded as "extraordinary" in terms of scale, output and sales. After the town's application was submitted to the China Silk Association, the China Silk Association completed the discussion, evaluation and Research on the application, believing that Dujing town has the corresponding conditions and strength. Site selection

Experts believe that taking the Dujing passenger terminal as the center, the upstream and downstream of Jialing River are 750 meters each, and the coastline is straight and deep. However, the land area in the rear is relatively flat, and the land area in the downstream section is mainly cultivated land with a depth of 650 meters; the land area in the downstream section is mainly beach land with a depth of 1000 meters. Moreover, there is only one rural road in Dujing town connected with the urban trunk road, which is an ideal location for container terminal. The site selection of Dujing container operation area has been determined, covering an area of 1000 mu. The construction investment of Dujing container operation area reached 1 billion yuan. According to the provincial construction schedule, Nanchong is now making full efforts to carry out its economic traffic volume survey and begin to survey the water and underwater topographic map of Dujing operation area.
