Zhuwangbao Town, subordinate to Yongchang County, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Yongchang County, adjacent to Minqin County, Wuwei City in the East, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City in the south, Shuiyuan town in the west, Shuangwan Town, Jinchuan District in the north, with an administrative area of 407.96 square kilometers.

History of construction
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Yong'an township.
In September 1949, it belonged to Yong'an district.
In December 1955, Dongzhai township was set up.
In September 1958, it was changed into Dongzhai commune.
In June 1983, the government and society were separated and the township was restored.
In October 1985, the commune was written off.
In September 2000, the township was removed to build a town.
