Bingcun town
Bingcun town belongs to Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the east of the area, 20 km away from Meicheng in Meizhou City, between 24 ° 18 '- 24 ° 20' n and 118 ° 18 '- 116 ° 23' E. It is adjacent to three townships of Yanyang town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the southeast, Xiyang town and white house in Meijiang district of Meizhou City in the southwest, Yanyang town and Songnan town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the northeast, Chengdong town in Meixian District of Meizhou city and Baidu town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the northwest. Provincial Highway s223 runs through Bingcun town along Jinjiang River, with a total area of 170.7 square kilometers.
Bingcun town was called biancun in ancient times. It was later renamed Bingcun because of the homonym of "Bian" and "Bing". At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, when the yuan army went south and the Song Emperor min fled to the south, he stayed in Xianying temple for one night when passing by biancun to hailufeng. The villagers named Bingcun to commemorate the imperial trace of Song Emperor min. The town covers an area of 171 square kilometers, with three townships of Yanyang town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the southeast, Xiyang town and white house in Meijiang district of Meizhou City in the southwest, Yanyang town and Songnan town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the northeast, Chengdong town in Meixian District of Meizhou City and Baidu town in Meixian District of Meizhou City in the northwest. District setting
Before the Tang Dynasty, there was no research on the organizational system of Bingcun town. In Tang Wude years (618-626 AD), Chengxiang county was divided into six townships, and Bingcun was under the jurisdiction of Wan'an township. In Song Dynasty, it belonged to Wan'an capital of Chengxiang county. The Ming Dynasty belongs to a picture of Wan'an capital of Chengxiang county. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, 36 fortresses were set up in Chengxiang County, and three fortresses, Jinpan, Bingcun (later changed to Jinzhou) and Yanyang, were set up in Bingcun. In 1931, the fortress was abandoned and divided into districts. Bingcun was under the jurisdiction of twelve districts, the third district and the first district. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it became Bingcun district. In 1958, Bingcun people's commune was established. In 1983, it was restored to Bingcun District. In 1987, it was renamed Bingcun town.

1.
