In February 1958, it belonged to Yantan commune of Donggang District. In 1962, it was transferred to Chengguan District and qingbaishi commune was established. In 1983, qingbaishi township was changed. In December 2004, qingbaishi street was built. In June 2020, qingbaishi Street governs 2 communities and 9 administrative villages.
