Talaha town
Talaha Town, belonging to duerbert Mongolian Autonomous County of Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of duerbert Mongolian Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Linyuan town of Datong District in the East, Yaoxin Township in the south, dandai township of Zhenlai County across the river in the West and Bayanchagan Township in the north. In 2018, the area was 567.44 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 21726.
In the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1685), talha station was set up, belonging to the southern station. In the second year of the Republic of China (November 1913), it belonged to Yongnian Township, the Fifth District of the Administration Bureau of Tailai. In the 16th year of the Republic of China (may 1927), it belonged to the third district of Taikang Administrative Bureau. In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (June 1933), Yongnian township was set up, and later the township was changed to Bao. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (May 1940), it belonged to duerbert banner and changed to Yongnian village. In the 35th year of the Republic of China (August 1946), it belonged to Talaha district. In November 1949, it belonged to the eighth district. In March 1955, it belongs to Talaha district. In May 1956, three townships of Talaha, Bula and Xing'an were set up. In April 1958, Xing'an and Fanshen townships were merged into Talaha township; in September, they were merged into Taiyangsheng commune with Xintun, Bula and two townships. In January 1960, it was renamed Talaha commune. In May 1961, Xintun commune was set up in some areas. In August 1984, it was changed to Talaha township. In June 1985, the township was transformed into a town.
In October 2019, Talaha town governs seven administrative villages.
