GouBa town
GouBa town belongs to Baihe County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of the county, adjacent to Zhongchang town in the East, Zha town in Zhushan County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province in the South and southwest, Maoping town in the northwest, Mahu town and Chengguan town in the north. The total area is 116.61 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, GouBa town has one community and six administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 15413. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of GouBa town reached 40 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 890 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 320000 yuan.
Historical evolution
It is named for its location in GouBa river.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it became the eastern credit Township and Yongqing township.
In April 1948, it belonged to the first and fourth districts of Baihe democratic county government.
In January 1950, it belonged to four districts.
In April 1953, the four districts were changed into three districts, and the three districts were changed into four districts.
In October 1955, the third district was changed into the middle factory area, and the fourth district was changed into the clamp district.

In May 1984, GouBa was divided into GouBa Township and Liangshui township.
In November 1996, Liangshui township was incorporated into GouBa town.
