Jinshui town
Jinshui town belongs to Yang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Yangxian County, bordering Sangxi town in the East, huaishuguan town in the west, huangjinxia town in the South and yueba town in Foping County in the north. The total area is 278.78 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Jinshui town has 14 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, Jinshui town had a population of 15427 registered residence. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Jinshui town reached 124 million yuan and the total industrial output value reached 32.1 million yuan.
Historical evolution
During the reign of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265-1274), it was named after its proximity to the Jinshui River.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Jinshui sub insurance of Yangxian county.
In 1950, Jinshui management area was set up.
In 1984, it belonged to Jinshui Township People's government.
In 1996, the former Jinshui township was merged with the former Zhanfang township to form Jinshui town.
In 2002, the original Youshui township was merged into Jinshui town.
In 2011, the original Yangtian township of Jinshui town was merged into Jinshui town.
