Chaheze Township
Chaheze Township belongs to Yuyang District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Yuyang District, it is adjacent to Xiaohaotu Township and Mengjiawan Township in the East, Xiaojihan Township and Niujialiang town in the south, Mahe town in the West and Wulan taolegai town in Wushen Banner of Ordos City in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north. The total area is 352 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Chahe has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 10289 households registered residence in Cha He township. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Chaheze Township reached 168 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 20 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 10 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Because the Township People's government is located in the intersection of Baihe River and Bulang River, Chahe gets its name.
Liberated in June 1949, it belongs to Hexi District of Yulin County.
In June 1950, Chaheze township was set up, belonging to Hexi District and eight districts.
In August 1956, shibukou township was added.
In September 1958, Chaheze commune was established.
In April 1959, it was transformed into a farm.
In January 1960, it was incorporated into Mahe farm.
In January 1969, Chaheze commune was reestablished, with 7 production teams and 37 production teams under its jurisdiction.
