Dongshaoqu town is located in the southeast of Miyun District of Beijing, 20 kilometers away from the center of the city. It borders Pinggu in the South and Shunyi in the West. Historical evolution

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, Dongshaoqu town belonged to Huairou and Shunyi counties.
