Yongxi town

Yongxi Town, subordinate to Dazu District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Dazu District, adjacent to Tuqiao town of Tongliang District in the East, Gulong town in the south, Wangu town in the West and Guoliang town in the north. In Song Dynasty, Yongxi town was under the jurisdiction of Bachuan county (Tongliang); in December 1993, duixi Township and Yongxi Township were merged into Yongxi town. History of construction

In Song Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Bachuan county (Tongliang).

At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Yong was assigned to Dazu County.

In 1910, Yongxi township was built in Wangu town.

After 1949, it was subordinate to the Sixth District of Dazu County (Wangu District).

In August 1954, Yongxi township was divided into Heping township (later renamed duixi township).

In October 1958, Yongxi Township, Heping Township and Xinglong Township were merged into Yongxi commune.

In October 1959, Yongxi commune established the peace commune.

In December 1961, Yongxi commune established Xinglong commune.

In 1984, Yongxi commune was changed into Yongxi township.
