Fengzhou town
Fengzhou Town, belonging to Feng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the middle of Feng County, adjacent to honghuapu town in the East, Hekou town and LIUFENGGUAN town in the south, shuangshipu town in the West and tangzang town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 27 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 19 kilometers, with a total area of 327.35 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Fengzhou town has one community and eight administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population in Feng Zhou was 13816. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Fengzhou town reached 100 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 2.4 billion yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 250 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Because there is Fenghuang Mountain in the east of the city, it was named Fengzhou in ancient times.
Since the Western Wei Dynasty, Fengzhou has been ruled by prefectures and counties.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), six roads in the county were changed into seven districts, where the central district was set up.
In 1929, the seven districts were changed into nine districts, and the central district had jurisdiction over eight Lincheng districts.
In 1935, Fengzhou joint insurance office was set up to administer the five guarantees.
In 1939, Fengzhou Town Office was established.
In November 1949, Fengzhou District Office (the first district) was established.

In September 1966, Fengzhou commune was renamed Hongwei commune.
In June 1970, it was renamed Fengzhou commune.
In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In June 1997, Fengzhou Township and Longkou town were abolished and Fengzhou town was set up, with jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 43 villager groups in Fengzhou, Beishan, cangping, sangyuan, nanshanwan, Beishan, yangjiashan, baishipu, baijiadian and wuxingtai.
In August 1997, wuxingtai and Yonghong villages were assigned to honghuapu town.
In December 2001, Hongguang township was abolished and merged into Fengzhou Town, with 18 administrative villages and 80 villager groups under its jurisdiction.

In November 2007, jingshaowan and yangjiashan villages were merged into baishipu village, huayuanchang village into mowan village, nanshanwan village into sangyuan village, wangjiacha and qingyagou villages into renmashan village, and Sanyi village into guoansi village. Seven villages were abolished and 20 villager groups were merged.
By the end of 2011, Fengzhou town had jurisdiction over 1 community in Longkou, 11 administrative villages including baishipu, Longkou, Fengzhou, Beishan, cangping, sangyuan, mowan, dengjiatai, Ma'anshan, Lumu temple and Guoan temple, and 7 resident groups and 60 villager groups.
As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages. The people's government is in the middle of Xuefu Road.

Fengzhou town is located in the middle and low mountain area of the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, high in the northeast and low in the southwest. The terrain of the territory is mainly Intermountain basin. The main peaks are Nanqi mountain, Fenghuang Mountain and douji mountain. The highest peak, Nantianmen, is located in Nanqi mountain, with an altitude of 1989 meters; the lowest point, xianjiawan, is located in sangyuan village, with an altitude of 960 meters.
