Jiangnan Street

Jiangnan street, subordinate to Fengman District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is the business service center of Fengman District. It is located in the north of Fengman District, on the South Bank of Songhua River, on the east side of Jiangnan bridge, to Beihua University in the East, Hengshan East Road in the south, Jilin Street in the west, and Songhua River in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 3 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 2 km, with a total area of 4 square kilometers.

In 1964, Jiangnan street was set up, belonging to Chuanying district. In March 1992, it was divided into Fengman District from Chuanying district. At the end of 2011, the total population of Jiangnan street was 66240. As of June 2020, Jiangnan street has 14 communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at 11 Yishan Road.

On December 31, 2020, the reply of Jilin Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Fengman District of Jilin City (jiminxingpi [2020] No. 4): adjust the jurisdiction of Jiangnan sub district office and add Jianhua sub district office. After the adjustment of administrative division, the area of jurisdiction is 8 square kilometers, with Nanshan street in the East, Jilin Street in the west, Shenzhong road in the South and Songhuajiang central line in the north. It has jurisdiction over Xinglong Village and 10 communities including Jiangbin, Yuhua, great wall, Changhong, taxation, Changjiang, Nanshan, Chuangye, Chaoyang and central, with a total population of 60000. Jiangnan Street office is located in Changcheng community (No. 11-4, Yishan Road).

In 1964, Jiangnan street was set up, belonging to Chuanying district.
