Hongquan town

Hongquan Town, subordinate to Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Yongjing County, adjacent to Sanyuan town and Taiji town in the East, Yangta Township and Wangtai town in the south, Xiaoling Township and Chuancheng town in the west, and Xinsi Township in the north. The area is 102 square kilometers. In 2018, 4556 people registered residence.

From 1929 to 1949, it belonged to congren township. From December 1949 to August 1958, it belonged to Wangtai district and the Sixth District. In September 1958, it belonged to Wangtai commune. In December 1961, Hongquan society was established. In 1965, it merged with Wangyuan commune. In August 1983, it was changed to Hongquan township. In December 2001, the township was removed to build a town. In October 2019, six administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Hongquan town.

In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Hongquan town was 1726 yuan, with 16 commercial outlets and 34 employees. The total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 1 million yuan.
