Situn Town, belonging to Zhouzhi County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Zhouzhi County, bordering Houjia village and town with Lianguang road in the East, Guangji town with chunfengling in the south, Yanghua River and Yabai town in the west, Weishui River in the north, and Dazhuang town of Wugong County in Xianyang city across the river, with a total area of 53.98 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
The origin of place names
It was named situn village after the ordinal number of tuntian in Tang Dynasty. Later, it was divided into upper and lower four Tun villages. It got its name because the town government was stationed in situn village.
History of construction
In 1949, it was Yanghua township.
In 1958, the great leap forward commune Yanghua camp was changed to Chengguan commune Yanghua district.
In 1976, the management area was moved to the north of shangsitun village.
In 1984, it was changed to situn township.
In 2011, situn town was changed into situn town.

The Neolithic Longshan cultural sites are located in the brick factory in the southwest of dongyanghua village, situn Township, on the second terrace on the East Bank of Yanghua River, and on the platform in the south of Beiliu village, Guangji Town, and on the East Bank of Yanghua river.
The West site of Huacun in Dongyang is an oblique rectangle, about 120 meters from north to south, 100 meters from east to west, covering an area of nearly 12000 square meters. From the cross-section of the soil, the cultural layer is about 2 meters thick, with bag shaped ash pits and other relics exposed, and the remains are mainly pottery. The clay red pottery, clay grey pottery and clay red pottery are less; the ornamentation mainly includes rope pattern and basket pattern, and the distinguishable utensils mainly include pot and basin. In addition, a grinding stone knife with a round perforation in the middle was collected.
The Beiliu site is about a trapezoid shape with a width of 260 meters from north to South and a length of 280 to 370 meters from east to west, covering an area of nearly 80000 square meters. The area of the site is large and the preservation condition is relatively good. In the western section of the site, a cultural layer with a thickness of about 0.8 meters is found. The relics are mainly pottery pieces, mostly red pottery with sand and gray pottery with sand. The patterns are mainly rope patterns and additional stacking patterns. The distinguishable utensils are mainly the pots and bamboos of Longshan culture. A stone hammer was also found with striking marks on the striking surface. In addition, there are fragments of Han Dynasty tubular tiles in the site, which can be inferred that there are Han Dynasty architectural sites here.
