Tangshan Township
Tangshan township is located in the northwest of De'an County, 55 kilometers away from the county seat, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with a basin in the middle, with an average altitude of about 500 meters. The township covers a total area of 27 square kilometers, adjacent to Wushan Township in the East, Zouqiao Township in the south, and Ruichang City in the West and North. It governs 4 administrative villages and 51 natural villages with a total population of 1773 (2017). Tangshan is a mountainous area with abundant bamboo resources. It is called "cuizhushan township".

Lingshang Village
Lingshang village is located in the southeast of Tangshan, 55 kilometers away from the county seat and 3 kilometers away from the township government. It borders Yangliu village of Wushan Township in the East, Fushan Village of Zouqiao Township in the south, Shiyuan village of Tangshan Township in the West and Xintang village in the north. The whole village covers an area of 10522 mu, including 1346.8 mu of cultivated land, 7832.7 mu of mountainous land and 4.4 mu of water surface. It has six villager groups with a total of 187 households and 736 people. There are abundant coal resources in lingshang. The main forest resources are mangosteen and Cunninghamia lanceolata, including 6791 mu of mangosteen and 467 mu of Cunninghamia lanceolata. At the beginning of 2004, a village level 100 mu bamboo garden was built, covering an area of 110 mu. Lingshang village has 5 water supply projects benefiting 154 farmers, 10 mountain ponds and 95 installed telephones, with a penetration rate of 49%.
Xintang Village
Xintang village is located in the north of Tangshan, 55 km away from the county seat and 1 km away from Tangshan township government. It borders Zhangshu village of Wushan Township in the East, lingshang village of Tangshan Township in the south, Shiyuan village of Tangshan Township in the West and Fan town of Ruichang City in the north. The village has a total land area of 10360 mu, including 2261 mu of arable land, 6158.9 mu of mountainous land and 10.9 mu of water surface. It has 13 villager groups and a village community, 502 households and 2080 people. rice and cotton are the leading industries in the village, with soybean, sweet potato, corn and other characteristic industries. Xintang village is rich in coal resources. The main forest resources are mangosteen and Cunninghamia lanceolata, including 1200 Mu mangosteen and 1100 Mu Cunninghamia lanceolata. One hundred mu bamboo garden at village level, covering an area of 200 mu. Xintang village has 12 water supply projects, which benefit 462 farmers; cable TV has been installed in the village; 285 telephones have been installed, with a penetration rate of 56%.
Shiyuan Village
Shiyuan village is located in the north of Tangshan County, 55 kilometers away from the county seat. It is the resident village of Tangshan township government. In the East is Xintang village of Tangshan Township, in the south is Zouqiao Township, in the west is Zhenghu village of Tangshan Township, and in the north is Fan town of Ruichang city. The whole village covers an area of 14637 mu, including 3354 mu of cultivated land, 9142.6 mu of mountainous area and 93.9 mu of water surface. It has 20 villager groups, 1 village community, 510 households and 2130 people. rice and cotton are the leading industries in the village, and the characteristic industries are soybean, red bean, corn, pepper, etc. Shiyuan village is rich in coal resources. The main forest resources are mangosteen and Cunninghamia lanceolata, including 1180 Mu mangosteen and 315 Mu Cunninghamia lanceolata. One hundred mu bamboo garden at village level, covering an area of 150 mu. Shiyuan village group has access to roads and cable TV; there are 46 mountain ponds and 10 water projects in the area, benefiting 460 farmers; 50% of the farmers have installed telephones.
Zhenghu Village
Zhenghu village is located in the southwest of Tangshan Township, 55 kilometers away from the county seat, Shiyuan village of Tangshan Township in the East, Daquan village of Zouqiao Township in the South and Henggang Town of Ruichang City in the northwest. The area covers an area of 10327 mu, including 1427.2 mu of arable land, 7147.3 mu of mountainous area and 51.4 mu of water surface; it has 12 villager groups, 301 households and 1216 people. rice and cotton are the leading industries in the village, with soybean, pepper and other characteristic industries. Zhenghu village is rich in coal resources. The main forest resources are mangosteen and Cunninghamia lanceolata, including 820 mu of mangosteen and 470 mu of Cunninghamia lanceolata. One hundred mu bamboo garden at village level, covering an area of 130 mu. The Zhenghu village group is connected with the highway. There are 7 water supply projects, 260 farmers benefit from the project, 156 telephones are installed, and the popularization rate is 52%.

The township is located in the humid monsoon climate zone on the northern edge of the mid subtropical zone. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, with an average annual temperature of 15.2 degrees. The lowest temperature (January) is minus 4 degrees, and the highest temperature (July) is 38.5 degrees. The frost free period is about 240 days, and the annual precipitation is 1333 mm. The climate is pleasant. It is known as "xiaolushan" and is an ideal place for people to avoid. The biggest problem restricting the development of the township and the life and production of farmers is the lack of water. Due to the special geographical environment and climate, the drought has been particularly serious in recent years. It is difficult for people and livestock to drink water. The yield of paddy fields and dry lands has been greatly reduced.

The traffic condition of the township has been greatly improved. The cement road leads directly to the township government, and it takes one hour from De'an County to the township government by bus. With the rapid development of social economy, telephone, mobile phones and other communication tools enter the villages and households, and cable TV enters the farmers' homes. More than 80% of the farmers in the township have clean and hygienic tap water. The four administrative villages in the township have completed the hardening of village to village roads.

Tartary buckwheat
Tartary buckwheat has long been used as coarse grains for poor mountain farmers to grow and eat. However, with the improvement of rural people's living standards, the number of farmers who grow and eat tartary buckwheat is becoming less and less, even disappearing. According to the survey and statistics, only Xichang in Liangshan area of Sichuan Province and Tangshan Township in De'an can produce tartary buckwheat in China, and our township is also known as the "hometown of Tartary Buckwheat", which has a long planting history and rich planting experience. Medical laboratory tests have proved that tartary buckwheat is a kind of low starch, nutritious and valuable coarse cereals. It has not only become the traditional staple food for diabetics, but also has a great role in preventing diabetes, reducing weight for obese people and health care for normal people. Under the advocacy of the Party committee and government, the planting area of tartary buckwheat has been further expanded to 1000 mu, which has begun to take shape.
Alpine pepper
Tangshan township is located in the humid monsoon climate zone on the northern edge of the mid subtropical zone, with pleasant climate, especially suitable for the cultivation of high mountain pepper. Tangshan pepper is mainly thick and spicy, which is very popular with urban and rural people. The planting area of high mountain pepper in the township reaches more than 2000, and increases by 500 mu every year.
Mangosteen
the area of bamboos in the township reaches 6000 mu. With the continuous adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure, the township increases at the rate of 500 mu per year, forming a unique bamboos in Tangshan, with an average per capita income of more than 600 yuan.

Tangshan township is a big agricultural and Forestry Township. There are abundant forest resources, mainly bamboos and Cunninghamia lanceolata, with the forest coverage rate of more than 80%. The area of bamboos and Cunninghamia lanceolata in the township is 6000 mu and 5000 mu respectively. The characteristic products are mainly bitter buckwheat and alpine pepper. The underground coal reserves are large and the coal quality is good, reaching 4500 kcal. The stone reserves are rich, with the calcium content of more than 95%; Cattle and native chicken are the main breeding industries, and their meat is famous for its tenderness, fresh juice and high nutritional value. by the end of 2010, the gross national product of the township was 95.7 million yuan, with an average annual growth of 6.7%.
