Gumu Township
Gumu township is located in Gaize County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, China, with 119 ° 14 ′ e to 125 ° 57 ′ E and 43 ° 50 ′ n to 45 ° 50 ′ n. It is adjacent to bayantohai town in the East, Sumu on the west of the Xini River in the South and West, and chenbalhu banner in the northwest. The landforms are mainly low mountains, plains and hills. Dongcuo district was established in April 1964. In 1996, it had a population of about 3200 and governed four townships, including three administrative villages in Dongcuo Township, four administrative villages in Luopo Township, four administrative villages in yongcuo Township and three administrative villages in Senduo township. In 2001, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Dongcuo Township and Gumu Township were established. Seven villages, Senduo, gangru, zhumar, nianda, Yanglong, xiuba and Rongma, were under the jurisdiction of Gumu Township, and the township government was stationed in gangru. It is rich in resources.
