Temuli town

Temuli town is the seat of Butuo county government of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is one of the three high-yield potato demonstration plots in the county. It has the advantages of large-scale planting, high yield and wide popularization of agricultural technology. It is known as the first potato town in the county.

On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of Puge county and other seven counties (cfzm [2021] No. 1): Wuke Township and LADA Township were abolished, and the administrative areas of Buliu village, Yeer village, Yongge village, kuazhi village and Caomu village of former Wuke Township, former LADA Township and former Muer Township were put under the jurisdiction of temuli Town, and the people's Government of temuli town was responsible for the adjustment The government is located at 111-1 putishang street, Xicheng community.

Temuli town is located in the central and southern Butuo basin of Butuo county. It borders on LADA Township and Jiudu Township in the north, Muer Township and Buer Township in the East, tuojue town and Juesha Township in the south, and Wuke Township and Puge County xiaoxingchang District in the West. At an altitude of 2385 meters, it is 114 kilometers away from Xichang, the capital of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture.

Population Division

The population is 24280, including 16851 Yi people, accounting for 69.40% of the total population. It governs 18 villages and 81 villager groups in temuli, luori, Guangming, democracy, Xianfeng, riche, zeluo, GEZE, Feipu, Jinai, luokui, Riga, suga, SiGe, Leji, Dejin, Dimu and Lewu.

Economics

In the adjustment of agricultural structure, the potato planting scale has been continuously expanded, and 20154 mu of potatoes have been planted in 81 villager groups in 18 villages. In 2013, the potato harvest reached 60308 tons; the Party committee and government organized the masses to sell 30% - 40% of the potatoes to Anhong potato flour factory and temuli potato flour factory, realizing the potato sales of 24120 tons (800 yuan per ton), the output value of 19.3 million yuan, selling 600000 Jin of high-quality potato seeds (1.6 yuan per Jin), and the output value of 960000 yuan, and the per capita income of the masses alone reached 1198.5 yuan.

There are 1 middle school, 1 ethnic middle school, 2 primary schools and 2 hospitals in the city. The total building area of urban housing is 199300 square meters, of which private housing accounts for 18000 square meters, and the per capita living area is 8.27 square meters. There are 4812.68 square meters of agricultural markets, more than 100 business enterprises and individual businesses in the urban area. We have formed light industrial enterprises focusing on sugar, pharmaceutical, food processing, leather and wood products. Butuo sugar factory is the only beet sugar factory in Southwest China, which adopts mechanized production. The "new Liangshan" brand sheepskin leather garment produced by Butuo national leather factory has won the high quality product award of the Ministry of light industry. The products are sold to more than 10 provinces, cities and regions in China, and also to Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asia. Butuo Panxi pharmaceutical factory and Qinyuan food factory are listed as provincial spark plan projects.

Historical evolution

In the period of Nanzhao and Dali, it was the territory of Adu tribe. In the Yuan Dynasty, Lizhou was established as the jurisdiction of Lizhou. In the Qing Dynasty, it was the place where Adu was the chief executive. In 1952, Butuo county was established to govern this area. In 1954, temuli township was established, and the town was established in 1985.

Before liberation, the town was uninhabited wasteland. In the early days of liberation, the working team of the people's government began to build houses here. From 1953 to 1955, there were only 100 residents in the town, 4369 in 1960 and 6404 in 1985.

In 1953, it was built into a new city with three main streets, asphalt pavement and roadside trees on both sides. A waterworks was built in 1957, electrified in 1958, and a local telephone was installed in 1959.
