This not only ensured the completion of the national grain task, but also promoted the development of the farming industry in the township and surrounding areas. famous scenery
Tombstone of Cangyi martyr
the rebuilt Tomb of Cangyi martyr is located in the old people's home of Dangliuzhuang Township, Yunzhou District, Datong City. Although it is late autumn, the warm sunshine and light blue sky make the courtyard very quiet and solemn. Standing in front of the tombstone of Cangyi martyr, looking at the inscription on the tombstone, it seems to see the elegant demeanor of a 25-year-old war reporter in the war years. Cangyi was a famous journalist in Shanxi Chahar Hebei border area. His original name was Zheng Yijin. Cangyi was his pseudonym when he was a journalist. Born in Singapore in 1921, Cangyi lived a poor life with his parents. Cangyi loved learning from an early age. First he studied in private schools, then he was admitted to Singapore Guangyang primary school, and then to Singapore overseas Chinese middle school. When Cangyi was a sophomore in Singapore overseas Chinese middle school, Japanese imperialism created the Lugouqiao Incident and launched a large-scale war of aggression against China. At the age of 16, Cang Yi left Singapore in the spring of 1938 to return to the war of resistance against Japanese aggression. Cangyi returned to China through Hong Kong. After being introduced by progressives, he entered the Anti Japanese base of Luliang and was admitted to the national revolutionary University. In April 1939, he first served as a reporter of "national revolutionary news agency" in the Shanxi Chahar Hebei border region, and then as a reporter of "national salvation daily". In the winter of 1940, he joined the Communist Party of China, and in 1941, he served as a reporter and reporter of "Shanxi Chahar Hebei Daily" and Xinhua general branch. His reportage "memorial company" was published in "Jin Cha Ji daily" for seven days in a row, which had a great influence. In 1946, Cangyi was ordered to fly from Zhangjiakou to Beiping for an interview. When he was bypassing Datong, Cangyi was secretly killed by the Kuomintang secret service in xilugou, malianzhuang, Yunzhou District, Datong City. He was only 25 years old. In order to remember the great achievements of the martyrs, in 1986, the 40th anniversary of Cangyi's death, Yunzhou district Party committee, district government and Shanxi chaji daily History Research Association of Datong city built the "Tomb of Cangyi martyrs" at the place where Cangyi died. During the interview, the reporter learned that the tomb of Cangyi martyrs has not been repaired in nearly 20 years since it was repaired in 1986. The Memorial Cemetery of Cangyi martyrs is overgrown with weeds, and the cement and bricks of the memorial base fall off in many places and are in a state of dilapidation. Since the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War, more and more people have come to commemorate Cangyi martyrs. Therefore, Yunzhou district Party committee and government of Datong city invested 51200 yuan to repair Cangyi martyrs' tombs.
