History of construction

In the 21th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (216), Fengxian County in the Han Dynasty was established as the county, prefecture and county administration.

In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to shengshanli.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jiangli.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Chengxiang town was established.

After 1949, it was renamed Chengguan town.

In September 1951, it was changed to urban area.

In April 1953, it was renamed Chengguan District.

In August 1981, Chengguan town was renamed Hanfeng town.
