Bangdui Township

Bangdui Township, Dazi District, Lhasa city is under the jurisdiction of Dazi county. "Bangdui" is a Tibetan translation, which means "the place where bangdui Lama's skull is buried". Bangdui township was set up in 1960, the commune was changed in 1970, and the township was restored in 1984.

It is located in the west of the county, with an area of 181.2 square kilometers and a population of 4005 (2017), and is connected with highways. It governs 17 village committees, namely Gangji, Keri, luoerlin, abulin, bangdui, Nirong, Baina, Lina village, Jisu, Xiajiao, Jiagu, zhajiagang, Langre, dachongcuo, bazego, chonggagang and qubu. Mainly agriculture, supplemented by animal husbandry, planting highland barley, wheat, rape, Grazing Yak, sheep, goats.

It has four village committees: bangdui village, Lina village, Keri village and Yeba village
