Jingha Hani Village
Jingha Hani township is one of the two ethnic townships in Jinghong City. In May 1984, Manhong district was established from Menghan commune. In February 1988, the district township was changed into limanhong Hani township. In 1990, the township government moved to the location of Jingha village and changed its name to Jingha Hani township.
Historical evolution
Jingha township was originally known as cheriludi. Mingjingha was a Meng level administrative unit under the Tusi system in the fourth year of Longqing in the Ming Dynasty (1570). In the Qing Dynasty, it was established under the system of Ming Dynasty, and was under the fourth branch of the General Administration of Pusi. In 1992, it was under the jurisdiction of Menghan District of Cheli county. In January 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Jinghong Menghan office in Banna. On May 7, 1984, the first and seventh production teams and the second, sixth and eighth production teams of Menghan commune were set up to build Manhong district. In February 1988, Manhong district was changed into Manhong Hani township. In 1990, the government moved to Jingha village and changed its name to Jingha Hani township.

geographical environment
It is the only Hani Township in Jinghong City. Located in the southeast of the city, it is 29 km and 42 km away from the land and waterway of Yunjinghong city. It faces Guanle town of Mengla County across Lancang River in the East, connects Menglong town and GASA town in the west, and borders Myanmar with a strip of water in the center of nan'a River in the south. The border line is 34 km long, adjacent to Menghan town in the north, surrounded by Lancang River and nan'a River in the southeast and North, forming a long and narrow Huludao shape. The total area under the jurisdiction is 398.8 square kilometers, and the mountainous area is 392.6 square kilometers, accounting for 98.5% of the total area. Only the area around the township government is 6 square kilometers of Pingba, accounting for 1.5% of the total area. It is a typical mountainous township. The average altitude of the area is more than 600 meters, the highest peak is womahan peak, 1470 meters above sea level, and the lowest is 243 boundary stake (the confluence of Lancang River and nan'a), 485 meters above sea level. It has a subtropical plateau monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 22.5 ℃, a maximum temperature of 39.7 ℃ and a minimum temperature of 5.4 ℃; an average annual sunshine of 1692.7 hours; an average annual rainfall of 1336.6 mm; and a humidity of 80.82%. There are obvious dry and wet seasons in the whole year (wet season is from May to October).
