Yunding town

Yunding Town, subordinate to Dongliao County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Dongliao County, bordering Jian'an town in the East, Quantai town and Dengta town in Liaoyuan City in the south, Tiane Township in Xifeng County, Liaoning Province in the west, and Jiashan Township in Yitong Manchu Autonomous County in the North. It covers an area of 111.2 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 18294 people registered residence in the cloud top.

In February 1956, Central Township was set up. In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established. In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1993, it was changed into Yunding town. In April 2003, Xingfu village was merged into Zhongquan village, Kangping village into Yunding village. As of June 2020, Yunding town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xinghua community.

In 2018, Yunding town has 4 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In February 1956, Central Township was set up.

By the end of 2011, Yunding town had one residents' committee in Xinghua, including 13 villagers' committees in Yunding, Lidian, Zhongquan, Hexin, progressive, shuicang, Zamu, Shuangcheng, Donggou, Xiyuan, Yangjia, Wanhe and Jinshan; it had three residents' groups and 69 villagers' groups.

It covers an area of 111.2 square kilometers.

Yunding town is located in Jilin hadaling low mountains and hills and Huifa River Valley area, Jilin hadaling West foot, the terrain is high in the southeast, low in the northwest, North has HengTou mountain, extending to the West. Dadingzi Mountain, the highest point in the territory, is located at the junction with Quantai Town, with an altitude of 459.2 meters; the exit of Dongliao River, the lowest point, is located in Donggou village.

The rivers in Yunding town belong to the East Liaohe River system of Liaohe River Basin, of which erdaohe river basin covers an area of 88.8 square kilometers, accounting for 80% of the total area, and dongliaohe river basin covers an area of 22.2 square kilometers, accounting for 20%. The main rivers include one Dongliao River, with a total length of 18 km; two Erdao River and toudao River, with a total length of 29 km; one Sandao River, with a total length of 11 km. The total length of the river is 62.0km, and the river network density is 0.6km/km2. Erdaohe is the largest river in the territory. It originates from Longbei village, Sanwan Township, Liaoyuan City, goes northward to the southwest of Xiaojie, Jian'an Town, enters Yunding town in Jinshan Village, joins sandaohe River in the north of Hexin village by Jinjin, Wanhe and Yangjia village, and flows into Erlong Lake in the West by Xiyuan and Shuigang village, with a length of 21 km. Dongliao river flows from Shuangcheng village to Erlong Lake at the junction of Liaoning Province through Yunding, Shuigang, Xiyuan and Donggou villages, with a length of 18 kilometers. Sandaohe originates from Qianhe village in the suburb of Liaoyuan city. It enters Yunding town through the junction of Jian'an town and Baiquan Town. It flows into erdaohe river through Hexin, Zhongquan, Lidian, shuicang, etc. in the north of Hexin village, with a total length of 11km. Wangou river originates from Dongbi village of Jian'an Town, flows into Erlong Lake through Jinshan, Wanhe, Yangjia and Xiyuan villages.
