Changdi Buyi township of Luoping County is located 26 kilometers to the east of Luoping County, 1042325-1043728 east longitude, 245937-250643 north latitude. It is located at the junction of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces and three counties (Luoping County, Fuyuan County, Xingyi City), Xingyi City of Guizhou Province in the East, Banqiao Town of Luoping County in the south, Jiulong Town of Luoping County in the West and Fuyuan County in the north. It is a new township established in 1988, because it is located in Yunnan Province It is named after the main gathering place of Buyi people in Shanxi Province.

It is a new township established in 1988, because it is located in Yunnan Province It is named after the main gathering place of Buyi people in Shanxi Province. With a total land area of 97.8 square kilometers, the township governs 6 Village (neighborhood) committees and 59 villager groups, including Desha, benkuai, bazuo, Changdi, developed and shipanshui. It is the only Buyi Township in Yunnan Province.
Climate and environment
Changdi township is located in the trough area of low hot valley, which belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. Jiulong River and kuaisehe River intersect in Xijiu River, with an average altitude of 1210 meters. It has abundant rainfall, annual average rainfall of 1319.5 mm, mild climate, annual average temperature of 16.7 ℃, sunshine of 1727 hours, annual frost free period of 309 days, National Highway 324 and Nanning Kunming railway crossing the whole Township, known as "natural greenhouse" and "green house" The key to Yunnan and Guizhou is the east gate to our province.

By the end of 2008, there were 4043 households with a total population of 16400, including 16335 agricultural population, 5343 Buyi people, accounting for 33% of the total population, 545 Yi people, 75 Hui people, 9 Bai people and 9 Hani people.
