Shuangjing town is located 15 kilometers south of Weixian County, which was called Hanquan town in ancient times. Because it is located on the North Bank of Weihe River, it is also called Weiyang. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, there were two wells in the town, one of which was bitter and the other was sweet. The water from the sweet well could be affected by the shaking of bitter water, so Hanquan town was changed to Shuangjing town. The ancient well has not been in the old road of Weihe River for a long time. Today's cuner well is located at the South Gate site in the southwest of the town, which is now dry. According to the original Wei county annals of the Qing Dynasty, the second well in the South Gate of the town was dug by the villagers in Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty Shuangjing Tongquan is one of the eight scenic spots of Wei County in Ming and Qing Dynasties. According to the annals of Wei county published by Kangxi, "Shuangjing Tongquan, formerly known as Shuangjing cold spring, is also known as Shuangjing Lingyuan." Later, it was changed to "Shuangjing Tongquan". Originating from the ancient Shuangjing at the south end of South Street of Shuangjing Town, the two wells are connected with each other, only five feet away. The lower springs are connected with each other, and when they are drawn, one is sweet and one is salty Weixian section of Weihe River used to be a part of the Grand Canal in ancient times. It was called Qishui in ancient times. Baigou was built by Cao Cao in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Yongji canal was built by Yang Di in the Sui Dynasty. It was called "Yuhe" in the song and Yuan Dynasties. In the Ming Dynasty, it was named Weihe because it originated from Weihui prefecture (now Jixian County in Henan Province) and ended in Wei in Tianjin. Shuangjing used to be an important ferry and wharf of the ancient canal. Since Sui and Tang Dynasties, it has been an important place for traffic between the north and the south. According to the new edition of Wei county annals, "the Yongji canal, which was excavated by the Sui Yang emperor by millions of migrant workers in Hebei counties, entered Wei county from the northwest of Neihuang County, Henan Province. It turned north and East in today's Old Wei County village, passed through the south of Hucun, Shuangjing north, Shenqiao north, and turned north and south out of Wei County, and entered the northeast of Daming County." In the Tang Dynasty, Shuangjing town was a freight distribution center in Weixian section of the Yuhe river. In the 28th year of Kaiyuan (740), Lu Hui, the governor of Weizhou, dredged the Yuhe River, built more than 100 houses on both sides of the Yuhe River, stored the goods transported from the Yangtze River and Huaihe River, and then sold them to all counties. Wei moved to Henan Province in the Ming Dynasty, from Huilong town into Wei territory, to pokou bend and eastward, passing through Niuzhuang, shuangjingdong, fengbaidu and other villages, into Daming territory. According to the Ming Dynasty "Zhengde Daming Fu Zhi" records, "Shuangjing town pillow Wei River West Bank, Tongzhou collection of benefits." Shuangjing town was also an important place for military garrisons in history. In 1541, the court ordered Jifu Prefecture and county to build fortresses to maintain security. Because Shuangjing was "based on the Yang of Zhang and Wei, it was able to collect boats, enrich people's life, and was in the first place in all towns." So the castle was built, named Shuangjing castle. Shuangjing fort was built by Feng weine, the magistrate of Weixian county. It began in September of the 21st year of Jiajing (1542) and ended in the first month of the 22nd year (1543). According to the records of the people's Republic of China in the annals of Daming County, Jianzhi, "the wall of Shuangjing fort is eight feet high, as thick as it is at the bottom, several feet thick at the top, and 563 feet wide. The front, back, left and right of the gate are the gates, because the gate is the tower and the Chengyong battlements are the battlements, except the way inside and outside the gate, so as to patrol. Outside the road is the pool, and outside the pool is the defense. There are four hundred people who have returned to their hometown to defend themselves. Ge Ran is a giant town in Zhangnan. " Houshuangjing fort was destroyed by flood in the middle of Qing Dynasty, and now only remains.
