Shuanghou Town, under the jurisdiction of Yinan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is an important watermelon production town. Yinan honey watermelon has officially registered the trademark of "shuanghou watermelon". The watermelon has sweet flesh, few seeds and thin skin. It is famous both inside and outside the province. It is the production base of watermelon and pepper in our county. Heishan an village is famous for its "red sister-in-law" cherry. May 1 is the local "Cherry Festival" every year, and tourists from all over the country come in an endless stream. Shuanghou town is located in the southwest of Yinan County, in the middle reaches of Menghe River, on the east side of Mengshan, adjacent to Feixian and Mengyin in the west, and sunzu, Zhangzhuang and qingtuo in the East. It covers an area of 155.02 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 56000 mu. Beijing Shanghai Expressway and national highway 205 run through the whole territory, 2 km away from the exit of Beijing Shanghai Expressway and Ridong expressway, 50 km away from Linyi airport and 25 km away from Yinan railway station of Jiaoxin railway. Shuanghou town is located in the western mountainous area of Yinan County, with continuous mountains and ravines, of which wucaishan is 762.8 meters above sea level, the second highest peak in Linyi city. The mountainous area accounts for 67% of the total area. There are scattered plains between the valleys, with 6679.79 hectares of cultivated land. The Inner Mongolia river runs through the whole territory from west to East. National Highway 205 and Beijing Shanghai Expressway cross each other. There are county and township roads connecting with the county, and rural roads connecting with villages. At present, there are 30 administrative villages with 45793 people (2017), of which agricultural population and non-agricultural population account for 97.3% and 2.7% respectively. Historical evolution

Shuanghou town was under the jurisdiction of Yishui County in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and even in the Republic of China. It was liberated in 1939 and was called Caiyu township. In 1941, Caiyu township was divided into two districts: Yazi district and penquan district. Penquan District belonged to Feidong County and Yazi District belonged to Yinan county. In 1945, Feidong County abolished its organizational system, and penquan district was assigned to Yinan county. In 1956, the county boundary was adjusted. Donghe, yinghou, Quanqiao and suozhuang townships in duozhuang district and Yazi district were assigned to Mengyin County. At the same time, some villages in Qingtuo district were assigned to shuanghou district on the basis of original Yazi district. Shuanghou people's commune was established in the autumn of 1958. In November of the same year, Yinan county was abolished and shuanghou commune was transferred to Mengyin County. In August 1961, Yinan County resumed its establishment and was again assigned back to Yinan County, which was then called shuanghou district. At the same time, Donghe and suozhuang, which were assigned to Mengyin County, were assigned back to shuanghou District, while Quanqiao district still belonged to Mengyin County. Shuanghou commune was changed into shuanghou Township in 1985 and shuanghou town in 1997. During the reign of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty, Wang family came to shuanghou village to settle down. Because there were two mounds in the West and east of the village, which were the remains of "Hou" used to detect enemy information and transmit signals in ancient times, the village was named shuanghou.

Heishan'an village of shuanghou town is located at the foot of wucai mountain in the southwest of Yinan county. It has been planting cherry for 100 years. It is the largest cherry base and trading center in Linyi city. In the past, Chinese cherries (commonly known as small cherries) were mainly planted, with medium yield, not easy to pick and transport, so the economic benefit was low. Since 1997, red light, naweng, Dazi, Xianfeng and other sweet cherry varieties (commonly known as big cherry) have been introduced for transformation. By 2005, it has more than 1000 mu of sweet cherry planting area, with an annual output of 400000 kg, an average price of more than 10 yuan per kg, and a total output value of 4 million yuan. It has become the main source of farmers' income in heishan'an small watershed, and registered the "caimengshan" brand trademark. Since 2000, cherry festival has been held every year to promote caimengshan cherry, and good results have been achieved.

Heishan'an village is one of the largest cherry producing areas in Linyi city. On both sides of several mountain valleys, there are thousands of acres of high-quality cherry orchards. In warm spring, pink cherry blossoms are brilliant; in late spring and early summer, when cherries mature, clusters of cherries look like pearls and agates, crystal clear and full of branches. Shuanghou town is a famous watermelon town in China, with thin skin, small seeds, edible rate of more than 55% and sugar content of 10-12%, and annual planting area of more than 10000 mu. Shuanghou watermelon is the earliest local variety planted in Taohuashan village, Hanjiayu village and leishigou village of shuanghou Town, also known as "sesame seed tight skin watermelon". This variety is round, green skin, with more than ten dark green longitudinal stripes. The single melon weighs 3-5kg, the sugar content in the center is more than 12%, and the edible rate is more than 55%. The skin is tight, fragile, sandy, refreshing and of good quality. In 1985 and 1987, he participated in two watermelon competitions in Shandong Province and won the title of "local famous watermelon". In April 1986, it won the first place of local watermelon variety in Linyi area. Since then, the town has been introducing new varieties of watermelon, and the surrounding villages have also planted a large area of watermelon, collectively referred to as "shuanghou watermelon". The product was registered in 1999.

Basin spring

It is located in front of penquan village and existed in the spring and Autumn period. There are special data in the new edition of Ciyuan, Cihai and Chinese dictionary. According to Yishui county annals compiled in the seventh year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, "juanquan was the place where his uncle Gong defeated Ju in the fifth year of Zhaogong. There is a basin spring society in the southwest of the county. " Zuozhuan is called "zhuoquan" and guliangzhuan is called "Benquan". The spring is now built into a well with a diameter of about 2 meters and a depth of 3 meters. The spring water gushes continuously all the year round and flows eastward into the pool for the villagers to wash their vegetables and clothes before flowing into the ditch. More than 50 meters in the west of the spring is the site of Guandi temple. In front of it is a ginkgo tree more than 500 years old.

Stone statues

It is located on Chaoshan mountain in the east of nanshimen village. The statue is located on the stone wall on the east side of the mountain top, with 83 statues, each about 0.30 meters high. The date of the excavation is unknown. Judging from the shape of the statue, it belongs to the period of the northern and Southern Dynasties.

In 1941, the famous battle of Daqingshan took place in Wudaogou, shuanghou town. During the breakout, more than 300 people, including Chen Ming, deputy director and Secretary General of the provincial War Union, Hans EBER, a German friend and reporter of the Pacific Society, died. In 1944, the former Feidong Anti Japanese Democratic government established Daqingshan martyrs' cemetery in dongsuozhuang, which is now a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level.

Wucaishan is 762.8 meters above sea level, the highest peak in Yinan. The mountain is continuous, surrounded by tall and straight peaks, beautiful mountains and lush forests, beautiful scenery and fresh air. The forest area of the region is 18000 mu, including 12000 mu of mixed shelterbelts such as Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii and Robinia pseudoacacia, and 6000 mu of economic forests such as cherry, chestnut and apple. At 700 meters above sea level, several huge stones form a huge barrier 50 meters long and 10 meters high. There is a cave under the wall, which can hold several people. There is also a stone cave on the hillside of the eastern foot of the mountain, which is unfathomable. The local people call it Shilong cave. The tour road around the mountain is built along the mountain stream, with twists and turns. At the foot of the mountain, at the turning point of the North stream of an village in Heishan, there are half hidden and half exposed hieroglyphic stones in the stream, which look like a giant toad in the water. Along toad Shizigou and budaiyu in the eastern foot of wucai mountain, there are more than 90 water retaining dams, long streams and cascades, which are magnificent. At the foot of the West wucai mountain, there is a reservoir with a capacity of 600000 cubic meters. The lake is bright and the mountain is beautiful, quiet and fresh. As an important part of Mengshan mountain, wucai mountain has been listed in the overall development scope of Mengshan mountain by Linyi Municipal Party committee and government, and has been identified as the leisure tourism area of Dongmeng mountain forest. The planning area is dominated by wucaishan, including Daqingshan, Dadingzi, maotoushan and other peaks.

Wang Delin, a famous Anti Japanese general, was born in Yazi village. He fled Northeast China with his father when he was a child. In 1899, he enlisted to build the Middle East Railway. He joined with a group of patriotic compatriots to intercept Russian vehicles and ships, seize money and grain, and provide relief to the poor. In 1917, he was appointed commander of the Third Battalion of the first Fengjun brigade. After the "September 18" incident, the Anti Japanese National Salvation Army was established and swore in as the commander-in-chief of the National Salvation Army. The number of troops expanded to 115000. In January 1933, he was besieged by the Japanese army and led his troops to withdraw into the territory of the Soviet Union. Then he went back to Poland and other places to support the Northeast Anti Japanese volunteers. He died of illness in Beishe village of Yishui County in 1938.
