Zhouxi Town, belonging to Kaili City, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, is located in the south of Kaili City, with Kaihuai street in the East, Leishan County in the southeast, Danzhai County in the south, Majiang County in the west, and Yatang street in the north, with an administrative area of 111.86 square kilometers.

In the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to the xuanweisi of Bozhou, where gongjiaoxi was set up as a civil and military officer. In January 1992, Zhouxi and Qingman were merged into Zhouxi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 25543. As of June 2020, Zhouxi town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Zhouxi village.

History of construction

In the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to the xuanweisi of Bozhou, where gongjiaoxi, a barbarian military and civilian chief, was set up.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Qingping county.

In the second year of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1737), qianxiangbao was built.

In 1932, Zhouxi Township, Wangxi Township, Wangzhou Township, wengdi Township, Fenghuang Township and Mandong Township, Qinglang Township, Dazhong township of Majiang county were established.

In 1956, Huangni township was merged into Dazhong Township, and Qinggang and Mandong Township were merged into Qingman township.

In May 1962, Qingman commune of Majiang county was assigned to Kaili County, and the production teams of Dazhong, pingzhong, Shiqing and Qingshan were assigned to Zhouxi commune of Kaili county.

In May 1984, Zhouxi commune and Qingman commune were changed into townships.

In January 1992, Zhouxi and Qingman townships were merged into Zhouxi town.
