Yangjiaao Miao Tujia township is located in the south by west of Sinan County. The township government is 80 kilometers away from the county. It spans 107052 e, 27050 n to 27056,.

geographical position

Its boundary is Xujiaba town in the East, qinggangpo town in the south, Yonghe town in Fenggang county in the west, and tingziba Tujia and Miao Township across the river in the north. It is 15.7 kilometers long from east to west and 9.8 kilometers wide from north to south, covering a total area of 76.03 square kilometers. It is one of the outlying townships in Sinan County. The highest altitude is 1190 meters, the lowest is 470 meters, and the average altitude is about 700 meters.

History of construction

In October 1992, the whole county carried out the work of building and merging townships and withdrawing districts. The former yangjiaao, Dabanshui and shuikoushi townships were merged to establish yangjiaao Miao Tujia Township, with party, government, mass, public, procuratorial, legal and department offices (units and offices) under them. The former Dabanshui, yangjiaao and shuikoushi townships set up working committees, which were changed into offices in 2001. The township governs 19 administrative villages and 149 villager groups, including guantianba, shaojiadu, Yantang, tujing, railings, ganjiashan, wangdaping, centougai, shuaijiagou, Guanyinshan, shuikoushi, weiganba, Zhongcheng, qingniangtai, xiaofengxi, Dabanshui, Anjiagou, Chuantang and Pingshang. The township government is located in guantianba village. From 1978 to 1983, yangjiaao people's commune was under the jurisdiction of qinggangpo district office. In 1984, the whole county changed the people's commune into a township, under the jurisdiction of the villagers' committee, until the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.
