Funing town

Funing Town, belonging to Funing District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Funing District, 35 kilometers away from the people's Government of Huangdao city. It borders Yuguan town in the East, liushouying town in the south, Chapeng Township in the West and daxinzhai town in the north. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Funing district. The total administrative area is 193.26 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Funing town was 82918.

In 1949, the territory of Funing town was the Second District of Funing district. In August 1956, Chengguan town was set up. In 1987, Chengguan town was renamed Funing Town, and Luzhuang township was incorporated. In August 2015, Funing County was divided into districts, and Funing town belongs to Funing district. As of June 2020, Funing town has 87 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The town people's government is located in Funing East Street.

History of construction

In 1949, the territory of Funing town was the Second District of Funing district.
