Tuping town got its name because its people's government was located in Tuping town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

It is surrounded by ancient trees. Several big trees have been listed for protection. They are more than 100 years old. Longtang temple is a two-way quadrangle. The main building is divided into three halls: upper, middle and lower. In front of the temple, there is a wooden structure with a Chuihua Mountain Gate, which connects with the surrounding walls. In addition, there are brick chongtian square and Shidi palace pagoda. On the right side of the temple, there is a monk's tomb, also known as a floating picture.
