Majian Town, located in the center of the northern suburb of Lanxi, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, is only 16 kilometers away from the urban area. It is known as the "hometown of fruits" and "the hometown of Chinese bayberry" both inside and outside the province. The town covers an area of 159 square kilometers, governs 33 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a population of 48123 (in 2017).
