Yanfeng town
Yanfeng Town, Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Yanfeng township was set up in 1950, the commune was changed in 1958, the township was restored in 1984, and Yueyue township was abolished and merged into Yanfeng town in March 2004.
On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in five counties (districts) including Tongchuan District (cfzm [2019] No. 21): the administrative areas of Dingling community, Changgou village, Datian village and Dingzi village in shuishuikou town were put under the jurisdiction of Yanfeng Town, and Yanfeng Town People's government was stationed at No. 141, Sancha Road South Street.

Yanfeng town is located in the north of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, on both sides of Guixi river. It is adjacent to Shuikou Township in the East, Qianfo Township and Guifu town in the north, and Sanban Township and Caihe Township in the southwest. It covers an area of 37 square kilometers and has a population of 15773 (2017). It is a hilly area with high terrain in the West and low terrain in the East. There are dengjian mountain (655 meters above sea level) and Xianglu mountain (497 meters above sea level). The right main canal of Berlin reservoir flows through nearly half of the villages in the town. The railway and Pingshi highway are in transit.

The town is named after the old local bee, which gathers on the rocks around the town and sounds like thunder; the town is surrounded by many river beaches, commonly known as Yanfeng beach. Yanfengchang was built in 1814. Yanfeng Township in 1950. Yuegong township was set up in xiyanfeng Township in 1954, renamed Sanjiang Township in 1956 and Yueyue Township in 1957. In 1958, it was changed into commune, and in 1984, it was changed into township.
In 1996, Yanfeng Township, with an area of 21 square kilometers and a population of 14000, governed eight administrative villages and one neighborhood committee, namely Qingxian, Baibao, Gaobei, Chuangu, Fengyang, Longshi, Shanhua and Shuwan; Yueyue Township, with an area of 20 square kilometers and a population of 11000, governed eight administrative villages, namely Chengya, Shuangshan, Shipo, Huilong, Yaoshan, Yuegong, Dalin and Dashu. In March 2004, Yueyue township was abolished and merged into Yanfeng town.
