Linjiang Town, subordinate to Wen County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Wen County, adjacent to Wudu District in the East, Jianshan Township and Kouba Township in the south, Qiaotou town in the West and Liping town in the north. It is 89 kilometers away from Wen County, with a total area of 113.51 square kilometers.
In December 1949, Linjiang town was called Linjiang township; in 2014, Linjiang township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Linjiang town was 7902. As of June 2020, Linjiang town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Linjiang middle street.

In December 1949, Linjiang township was established.
In May 1953, it belongs to Linjiang District, with Linjiang and Zhaizi townships.
