Kostek Town, belonging to Buerjin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Buerjin county. It borders on kalaxilik township of Altay City in the East, alahak township of Altay City in the southeast, kalaxilik township of Altay City in the south, chonghur town and dulaiti township of Buerjin County in the west, and dulaiti Township in the north.
